Pick a point from Death of a Salesman to analyze, and write about this point from one of the critical theory perspectives. For instance, if you want to analyze the character of Linda, you might choose to examine her through the Feminist Theory lens. If you choose to analyze Willy's hallucinations, you might examine those through the Psychological lens. If you'd like to discuss the various characters' pursuits of the "American Dream," a Historical approach might be fitting. I encourage you to use the notes you gathered in your annotations and on your book-marks while reading as a brain-storming launch point.
Shoot for about three paragraphs; as always, your analysis should be persuasive, working to prove one main argument. Please do incorporate evidence and CDs from the text. :)
